An accommodation is a place that can accommodate human beings, e.g. a hotel room, a camping pitch, or a meeting room. Many accommodations are for overnight stays, but this is not a mandatory requirement.For more specific types of accommodations not defined in schema.org, one can use additionalType with external vocabularies. A geographical region, typically under the jurisdiction of a particular government.

A public structure, such as a town hall or concert hall.

A landform or physical feature. Landform elements include mountains, plains, lakes, rivers, seascape and oceanic waterbody interface features such as bays, peninsulas, seas and so forth, including sub-aqueous terrain features such as submersed mountain ranges, volcanoes, and the great ocean basins.

An historical landmark or building.

A particular physical business or branch of an organization. Examples of LocalBusiness include a restaurant, a particular branch of a restaurant chain, a branch of a bank, a medical practice, a club, a bowling alley, etc.

The place where a person lives.

A tourist attraction. In principle any Thing can be a [TouristAttraction](http://schema.org/TouristAttraction), from a [Mountain](http://schema.org/Mountain) and [LandmarksOrHistoricalBuildings](http://schema.org/LandmarksOrHistoricalBuildings) to a [LocalBusiness](http://schema.org/LocalBusiness). This Type can be used on its own to describe a general [TouristAttraction](http://schema.org/TouristAttraction), or be used as an [additionalType](http://schema.org/additionalType) to add tourist attraction properties to any other type. (See examples below)

A tourist destination. In principle any [Place](http://schema.org/Place) can be a [TouristDestination](http://schema.org/TouristDestination) from a [City](http://schema.org/City), [Region](http://schema.org/Region) or [Country](http://schema.org/Country) to an [AmusementPark](http://schema.org/AmusementPark) or [Hotel](http://schema.org/Hotel). This Type can be used on its own to describe a general [TouristDestination](http://schema.org/TouristDestination), or be used as an [additionalType](http://schema.org/additionalType) to add tourist relevant properties to any other [Place](http://schema.org/Place). A [TouristDestination](http://schema.org/TouristDestination) is defined as a [Place](http://schema.org/Place) that contains, or is colocated with, one or more [TouristAttraction](http://schema.org/TouristAttraction)s, often linked by a similar theme or interest to a particular [touristType](http://schema.org/touristType). The [UNWTO](http://www2.unwto.org/) defines Destination (main destination of a tourism trip) as the place visited that is central to the decision to take the trip. (See examples below).
